Terrorist (disputer) .. according to Quran !

Allah says in Holy Quran,

English Translation: "And some one of men is he whose talk seems pleasing to you and bring Allah as a witness on what is in his heart, while he is the greatest disputer. And when he turns his back then wanders spreading mischief in the land and destroys the crops and lives and Allah agrees not with the mischief. And when it is said to him, 'fear Allah' then he becomes more persistence in sin, to such the hell is enough and that is necessarily, a very bad bed."
[ Chapter 2 (Surah Al-Baqara), Verse 204 to 206 ]

'Some'

Geography is a very important thing. It becomes more important when politics gets involve in it. It is then called GeoPolitics. Some people say that Pakistan has become an epicenter of world's geopolitics. God knows whether they say right or wrong; but they say !

Some other people argue that America came in this region because of the richness of this region in mineral resources. They say that USA is always hungry for energy reserves because of its increasing dependency on energy. According to these people, another reason of USA's existence in this region is to defuse Pakistan's Nuclear capability. They also say that this region is also very important to restrain the growing Chinese and Russian economies, and their arising influence in world's geopolitics. On the contrary, some people say that America came in this region just to bring peace, curb terrorism, and help Afghanistan & Pakistan.

Some other people think that Pakistan's Nuclear weapons are not safe. They fear that people of extremist mindset can take-over the nuclear assets, and will use these weapons against the West. On the contrary, some people say that it is not possible to take-over nuclear assets, as Pakistan Army is responsible for safe-guarding the atomic weapons, and its impossible for few thousand extremists to defeat a strong force like Pakistan Army.

Some people assume that as they have seen the complete series of 'The Arrivals', therefore now they are fully aware of what conspiracies the world-powers are making against Muslims. They think that 'The Arrivals' disclose all evil plans of anti-Islamic forces, and watching this series increases the mental level of average persons, and that people start thinking differently after watching it. But some other people say that the activities of anti-Islamic forces are already pretty clear, and its not that much necessary to watch The Arrivals in order to know that anti-Islamic forces are working against Muslim world.

Some other people even claim that world-powers have designed a new map for this region. According to which Pakistan will be further divided into smaller countries. They say a private militia 'Blackwater' will play a key role in this process. Whereas some other people say that no militia like Blackwater exists in Pakistan .. and Pakistanis just have a phobia that world-powers are making conspiracies against Pakistan. According to them, world-powers are actually helping Pakistan in crises situation.

So, whether the colour of water is black, or white .. it is certain that water is colourful now. It is not transparent anymore (that it was supposed to be). Some-how, it has lost its property of being transparent. The water is fishy for sure.

Some people think this way .. and some other people think that way. Who knows what exactly is the state of affairs ? Some people might be aware of the real-state of affairs. Probably those, who changed the colour of water from transparent to black or whatever.

So the bottom-line is .. there is some absolute confusion somehow!

August 11, 1947

You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed-that has nothing to do with the business of the State. (Mohammad Ali Jinnah on August 11, 1947. Presidential Address to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan at Karachi.)

Stand up for the champions

.. attack on Sri Lankan team on Pakistani soil .. and the world got another reason to corner Pakistan. Pakistan and Pakistanis became the most notorious things on the planet. The Godfathers of cricket refused to tour Pakistan. Pakistani players became persona-non-grata for IPL. And finally ICC made its contribution to make the wounds of Pakistan even more grave, by disallowing Pakistan to host the matches of 2011 Cricket World Cup.

.. under such immense pressures, unhealthy atmosphere and unfavourable conditions, Pakistani players made their entry in the T20 World Cup.

But the outlook of Indian camp was quite different. As always, the Indian players were having their extreme over-confidence, due to the extreme hype created by their extremist media. Anyway, the frogs of well cant think big.

.. and here was the team who was always under-estimated by the pundits of the cricket. The pundits had already declared that this is not the team that should be called as 'favourites'. And hence, this non-favourite Pakistani Team took a below-average start in the tournament. Lost both of the warm-up matches. Lost the first pool match as well. Probably Pakistani players were still warming up. Won the match against Netherlands, and hardly showed their existence in super-eight. Lost a crucial match against Sri Lanka. But it seemed that the warm-up session was completed by this defeat, and now they started the real action. Beat New Zealand in a nail-biting match, and the success story took the start.

On the other side of the story, the scenes were changing. As Pakistan was warming up in its pool, India was cooling down in its pool. All hotness was gone, and finally the defending champion was no-where in the tournament.

Those who were saying that Pakistan reached the semi-final just 'by chance' .. had to shut their mouths when Pakistan beat the un-beaten and most favourite, South Africa. And how Pakistan won the final, and took the trophy, probably cannot be explained in words.

Words simply cant elaborate the kind of pressures that these Pakistani players had. They were under-estimated by many .. they were cornered by the world .. they had the sad memories of Bob Woolmer .. they had the bad memories of World Cup 2007 ..  and their country is facing probably the worst ever turmoil of history. And under these conditions, these guys brought the joy in the lives, and smile on the faces of their fellow countrymen. Few million rupees as reward would probably be good for them, but these limited amounts cannot be matched with their un-matched heart-wining performance.

.. and this heart-wining performance demands, as the Right Said Fred's song says, at-least to .. 'Stand up for the champions' .. ;)

shaam se jal jaatay hein

jin ko jalna ho wo araam se jal jaatay hein

germi-e-hasrat-e-nakaam se jal jaatay hein

ham charaghoN ki tarah shaam se jal jaatay hein

shama jis aag mein jalti hai numaayish k liye

ham usi aag mein gum-naam se jal jaatay hein

khud-numaayee to nahiN shaywa-e-arbaab-e-wafa

jin ko jalna ho wo araam se jal jaatay hein

bach nikaltay hein ager aatish-e-syaal se ham

shola-e-aariz-e-gulfaam se jal jaatay hein

jab bhi aata hai mera naam teray naam k saath

jaanay kyooN log meray naam se jal jaatay hein
