    Mumbai terror attack !

.. and so .. as expected, the puppet Sikh PM (Manmohan Singh) of a so-called secular country India, blamed a neighbouring country for Mumbai terror attacks, in his address to the nation. Well, it is no more surprising now .. as we have now become familiar of Indian accusations on Pakistan for whatever happens in India. Its a decades-old tradition of Indian govt. to blame Pakistan and ISI.

The role of Indian media also becomes very patriotic and mind-blowing in such situations. By hook or cook, Indian media also tries hard to link the terrorist activities in India with Pakistan. It is a nice example of solidarity between media and government. Pakistani media should learn something from this.

It was quite surprising that Indian security agencies had no information of such a massive plan of attacks on Mumbai's Taj Hotel and other prominent places. But it had become even more interesting and mind-blowing that just after few hours of attack, security agencies were telling the whole plan of terrorists to the media that terrorists came through a boat on Mumbai's coast. And the boat was actually coming from a Pakistani city Karachi .. and the boat was fully loaded with arms and explosives. Wow .. great .. how brisk the security agencies India has ?

What Indian navy was doing when this boat was entering in India's territory through sea ? What Indian coast-guards were doing when the boat arrived at jetty ? What the Mumbai Police was doing when terrorists entered in the city ? What the private security guards of Taj Hotel were doing when terrorist entered in the premises of hotel along-with a great amount of arms and explosive ? India is not going to answer all these questions. It has only learnt to blame Pakistan.

Blaming Pakistan is very fruitful for India in many ways.

    - By blaming Pakistan, India tries to convince the world that Pakistan is a terrorist state.

    - Doing this, India tries to convince the world to increase pressure on Pakistan regarding war on terror.

    - Doing this India tries to shift the focus of world from Kashmir issue and many other separatist movements in India.

    - Convincing western powers to impose economic and strategic sanctions on Pakistan

    - Damaging the tourism industry of Pakistan by war-on-terror.

    - Boosting India’s own tourism industry.

    - After making the position of Pakistan more and more weak, in last India tries to dominate the bilateral negotiations with Pakistan.

We cannot expect any positive change in this policy from India. A positive change requires a big heart and an open mind. Unfortunately India lacks in both of these. Moreover, under current scenario of global drama (that seems to be ideal for India in many ways), India has no need to be good and fair with Pakistan. But to me, the current so-called flight of India towards progress and prosperity, will not last for more than a decade. Its a country of over 1 billion population, where the majority is using every mean to suppress the Muslim minority of over 200 million population. Practically it is impossible to grow for any country when it does not allow such a large number of its people to come in the main-stream. It is impossible for a country to grow when it has the most notorious cast system in its roots; where the upper-cast does not allow the lower-cast (over 300 million) to come in the main stream. India has several other severe divisions in it as well.

How a country could progress when more than half of its population is not aligned with it ? Sooner or later, India is simply destined to fall.

ISI versus CIA, Mossad and RAW !

i was reading a report on the web-site of zee news .. according to the report, Indian interior ministry blamed Pakistani security agency ISI that it is involved in supporting the freedom movements in India from India's eastern borders. Criticizing ISI is an old habit of India. But as it has now become an international fashion to criticize ISI, so India is using this trend very intelligently in its favour.

On the contrary, what about the activities of Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research & Analysis Wing) ? What is it doing at the western border of Pakistan ? Why Indian govt. has opened consulates in the eastern provinces of Afghanistan, just few miles away from Pakistani border ? Dr. Zaid Hamid, a renowned analyst uncovers the facts about what actually is happening at the western borders of Pakistan, and how Indian, American and Israeli intelligence agencies are involved in destabilizing Pakistan from the western borders of Pakistan using the Afghan soil ?

Dr. Zaid Hamid revealed in a TV program 'Brass-tacks' that CIA, Mossad and RAW (American, Israeli and Indian intelligence agencies respectively) are supporting the anti Pakistani forces within Pakistan. These agencies give enormous amount of funds to Jehadi Groups (including Taliban) and BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army) to execute terrorist activities in Pakistan. In late 2006 Pakistani authorities provided evidences to USA that India is funding the anti-Pakistani forces in Balochistan. Moreover, Brahamdagh Bugti (grandson of Akber Bugti) was seen many times travelling in the vehicles of RAW in Afghanistan. He has also visited New Delhi. But USA didn't take any step to stop the Indian aid to BLA, which is still continued.

In 2007 Pakistani security forces informed their US counterparts in Afghanistan to target a convoy of Baitullah Mehsood (leader of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) in the border area. Pakistani officials were so accurate about the presence of Baitullah Mehsood that they even pointed out the exact vehicle in which he was travelling. But surprisingly US Forces didn't act, though their satellite was watching the convoy travelling. These like so many other incidents were enough for ISI to realize that what are the real aims of USA behind its stay Afghanistan. And so a silent war started between CIA and ISI. ISI lessened its collaboration with CIA, and made its own strategy to cope with BLA and Taliban regardless of what USA wants. That is why west and India are maligning ISI continuously.

The most recent attempt of CIA to bring ISI under its control was in July 2008, but the attempt failed miserably. When PM Yousuf Raza Gilani was on its way to USA on 26th July 2008, the interior ministry under pressure from US, announced that ISI and IB will now work under the Interior Ministry. This was an indirect attempt of CIA to control ISI, as the recently elected Pakistani government is considered to be working on US directions under extreme pressures (that has another background). But ISI retaliated, and interior ministry took the announcement back. And so CIA failed in the plan. But it is expected that when Asif Ali Zardari will become President, CIA will make a second attempt of this kind.  On American pressure, Zardari might go for removing the DG ISI and Army Chief, and will bring the new Chief which would be suitable to USA.

It is very clear that CIA, Mossad and RAW are doing all this because a nuclear Pakistan is not acceptable to them. The only way to get rid of Pakistan’s nuclear capability is to weaken it by creating disorder in the country. And for this purpose they finance extremist and separatist groups to create the issue of terrorism in Pakistan. According to their plans, after creating extreme disorder a stage will come when they will be able to divide Pakistan easily, and hence the nuclear capability of Pakistan would be defused automatically.

    Fool's Paradise

As said by Musharraf that it was an un-natural alliance .. so this was the clinical death of the coalition of PPP and PML-N, which lasted just for a week after the resignation of Musharraf. It is useless to say now that the only binding force of this alliance was its hatred against Musharraf. These two parties belong to the two different schools of thought. These are the parties with a history of extreme hatred against each other, who filed loads of cases against each other in the last decade. Thinking that they will work together, is equal to living in a fool's paradise.

I am now thinking about the group of people (particularly media persons) who used to propagate continuously after the elections of 18th February that President House is the center of conspiracies against this coalition. Where are those people now ? Those people, along-with their stupid thoughts, should dive in a pond of dirty water. Some of those people were AAJ TV anchors i.e. Talat Hussain, Nusrat Javed and Mushtaq Minhas alognwith their buddies at ARY i.e. Kashif Abbasi and Aasma Sherazi, plus GEO TV Anchor/Analyst i.e. Hamid Mir and the most stupid analyst of all times i.e. Ansar Abbasi.

God knows who was making the conspiracy ? Whether it was Musharraf who was making the conspiracy against the coalition, or there were PPP, PML-N and Media who were making the conspiracy against Pervez Musharraf ?

Pakistani folk music, and the westernized Pakistanis !

it has become a general behavior of our nation to praise the foreign things .. and these 'foreign-things' may include educational system, clean roads, justice, discipline, life-styles, culture, movies, music, fashion, celebrities and so on. If the question remains only to the extent of praising the foreign-things, it could be swallowed somehow. But the irony is that people start degrading those national things which are in-fact our national prides. By the way, i am also a fan of foreign-things, but to a limited extent. I like clean roads of the developed world, their system of education, standard of justice and discipline. Of-course, there is no surprising element in it .. everyone likes good things Smile. But when it comes to life-style, culture, movies, music, fashion and celebrities sort of things; while staying neutral my brain starts thinking in a patriotic way.

i was talking with a friend of mine the other day. The topic was 'music'. When the discussion reached to the folk music of Pakistan, he started laughing. He degraded Pakistani folk music and was of the opinion that our folk music is a cheap or shoddy sort of thing. He said that our folk music stands nowhere internationally, and he feels embarrassment when he compares our folk music with the songs of Britney Spears or Back Street Boys or with Indian songs.

Well .. i had no words to convince him. There was a difference of 180 degrees between his and mine ways of thinking. Or may be there was no 'way of thought' at all on his part. I think people like him have some inferiority complex; i dont know why ? Degrading national things is a general trend now. It is actually a state of mind. These people are so impressed with the foreign world that they start hating their own land. They think that by listening english/indian music, or by watching the movies of Tom Cruise, they've become modern. They ignore to take interest in their own national prides. Consequently they are left with zero knowledge about the rich culture and history of their own soil. They are ignorant, in true sense of words. Westernized/maghrib-zadah !

Personally i like the folk music of my country very much .. whether it belongs to Balochistan, N.W.F.P, Sindh, Punjab or Kashmir. All are best. While listening the beats of locally invented musical instruments, you can't control the un-intentional left-to-right movement of your head and upward-to-downward movement of your foot .. Wink

Attempts of equating Lal Masjid with Karbala !

The sad incident of Red Mosque took place in the same dates of previous year, and it is one year old now. Some circles of the society are organizing the anniversary of the incident these days. I have noticed that last year when this incident was occurred, and this year when some groups are organizing the anniversary, few of them are trying to equate the incident of Lal Masjid with the incident of Karbala. Some of them are our TV anchors, columnists and intellectuals. I am absolutely unable to understand that while equating Lal Masjid with Karbala, how easily these people ignore the clear and wide differences between these two incidents ? I consider this act of ignoring the facts as criminal attempt of distorting the history. So i thought to compile a few differences between these incidents to show that right from initial stages of happenings, how different were the two incidents actually ?

Without going into minute details of Karbala, I will only discuss the very main and basic happenings of Karbala to highlight the key differences.

    • When Imam Hussain (a.s.) felt that the forces of Yazeed are trying to assassinate him in the premises of Khana-e-Kaba during Hajj, he left Mecca to avoid any blood-shed on the Holy Land. While on the other hand, the administration of Red Mosque used the mosque as a shield.

    • At any stage of the struggle, Imam Hussain (a.s.) did not try to take the law and order of the country in his own hands. Whereas in case of Lal Masjid, the administration of mosque not only took-over the control of nearby areas, they also took the personnel of police into their own custody many times. Apart from that, they stormed a nearby office of a ministry as well.

    • Imam (a.s.) didnt use the women and children with him as shield. Before the evening of 10th Muharram, not a single woman of his family came out of the house. It was only after the martyrdom of Imam and his companions that Hazrat Zainab (a.s.), the sister of Imam, took the charge to protect the family and to spread the message of Imam. But in case of Lal Masjid, we observed that every now and then the administration of mosque advanced the female students of Jamia Hafsa, while giving long sticks in their hands for threatening purpose. Moreover, during the final days of the incident/operation of Lal Masjid, the militants also used the Jamia Hafsa (which was a place specific for the education of female students) to attack on the law enforcement agencies. When the administration of Mosque itself did not have any respect of their own females, how could they expect others to restrain ?

    • In the incident of Karbala, Imam (a.s.) and all of his companions went right in the middle of the battle field, one by one, to fight with the enemy. Not a single companion of Imam Hussain tried to hide or escape from the battle field. When at fight, no one tried to hide himself in any shelter. On the other hand, the militants of Lal Masjid were playing hide and seek with the law enforcement agencies. At one time they used the minarets of the mosque to open the fire on security agencies, and at the other times they used other areas of mosque or Jamia Hafsa to attack. And in final stages, the class-rooms of Jamia-Hafsa became the battle-ground as the militants took refuge in class-rooms.

    • Imam (a.s.) did not have any plan to fight with Yazeed's force. That is why he did not make any efforts to store the weapons. The irony was that, some of the companions of Imam (a.s.) went in the battle field only with a mere stick in hand. They did not even have a single sword available. On the other side we saw that the administration of Lal Masjid used automatic weapons against the opponents, for several days. They were storing the ammunition since long. And as the incident proceeded, the administration of Mosque announced that they had enough weapons to fight for a month. It is really strange that the administration of Lal Masjid had converted the mosque into an ordnance depot.

    • In Karbala, after the martyrdom of all of his companions, in last Imam Hussain himself fought in the battle field till martyrdom. On the other side, Molana Abd-ul-Aziz was the first man who tried to flee in a Burqa (veil).

However, it is undoubtedly true that whatever happened in the Red Mosque was gruesome. It was certainly amongst the saddest of incidents the nation faced. Precious lives were lost at both sides. The purpose of writing above points is not to prove that one of the two sides (Lal Masjid or Government) was correct, and the other side was wrong. It was only an attempt to set the record straight. Any incident with bloody end, doesn't mean that it can be equated with Karbala.

Use of force is never a good option, and should be avoided to the maximum extent.

1991 - Conflicts started with the then COAS (Chief of the Army Staff) General Aslam Baig on Gulf War.

1992 - Quarreled with the new COAS General Asif Nawaz on an army operation in Sindh.

January 1993 - General Asif Nawaz died probably of heart attack. Fingers raised on Nawaz Sharif about his involvement in the untimely and sudden death of COAS. After his death, Nawaz Sharif wanted to appoint a candidate of his own choice as the new COAS against the will of President Ghulam Ishaq Khan and Army. This resulted in a conflict between PM and President. However president used his special powers provided in the constitution to appoint General Wahid Kakar as the new COAS.

April 1993 - President Ghulam Ishaq Khan removed the government of Nawaz Sharif on corruption charges and dissolved the assemblies.

May 1993 - The Supreme Court of Pakistan supersede the decision of President, and restored Nawaz Sharif and the assemblies.

July 1993 - President and Nawaz Sharif, both resigned.

February 1997 - Nawaz Sharif became Prime Minister of Pakistan again, this time with two-third majority (enough to amend the constitution).

April 1997 - He amended the constitution of
Pakistan and brought the 13th amendment by which he defused the power of President provided in the article 58-(2)(b) of constitution to dismiss a PM.

July 1997 - Brought the infamous 14th Amendment in the constitution, through which party leaders got the power to dismiss the members of national/provincial assemblies if they dont vote according to the order of party leader. Doing this, he protected himself from being dismissed by a no-confidence vote of parliament.

November 1997 - The then CJ (Chief Justice) of Pakistan, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah was hearing a case of 'Contempt of Court' against Nawaz Sharif, when suddenly a Nawaz Sharif sponsored mob attacked the Supreme Court. The supporters of Nawaz Sharif breached the police barriers, entered the court-room while chanting the slogans against CJ and destroyed the furniture of court-room. The police was instructed to remain silent and do nothing. The CJ somehow managed to escape from the court-room. After this incident, CJ wrote a letter to the then president, Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari to deploy the Army in the premises of Supreme Court to protect the judiciary. However, the army could not be deployed.

December 1997 - After the immense pressure of Nawaz Sharif, President Farooq Leghari resigned, as he had left with no power after the 13th amendment. Nawaz Sharif removed Justice Sajjad Ali Shah after the resignation of President.

January 1998 - Nawaz Sharif appointed a hand-puppet president in shape of Rafique Tarar.

    May 1998 -
India conducted 5 atomic tests. In response, Pakistan also conducted 6 atomic tests. Co-incidentally Nawaz Sharif was the PM of Pakistan at that time. Since then, Nawaz Sharif takes the credit of conducting the atomic tests. After the atomic tests, he imposed emergency in the country.

October 1998 - Nawaz Sharif forced COAS General Jahangir Karamat to resign after a dispute on the issue of forming a National Security Council. Then he picked General Pervez Musharraf as the new COAS. Doing this he had every actor of his own choice on the stage. A personal
favourite President with zero power, a loyal judiciary, a personally appointed COAS, and a dummy parliament that was not able move a no-confidence vote against him. There was no check on PM now. All doors were closed to remove the PM legally.

January 1999 - Nawaz Sharif forced the Jang Group of Newspaper to suspend its publication. The reason behind the curb was, the newspaper printed stories of allegations of widespread corrupt practices by Sharif, his family, close associates and government members. As a result, the government arrested the owner of Jung Group i.e. Shakil-ur-Rehman, froze the Jang Group's bank accounts, stopped government advertisements to several of its publications and ordered it to pay two billion rupees in income tax. The government blocked the access of Jang Group to its ware houses, and stopped their newsprint shipment at the port.

May 1999 - The Kargil issue arose between
Pakistan & India. Nawaz Sharif asserted that General Pervez Musharraf advanced the troops in the mountains of Kargil without his permission.

May 1999 - Najam Sethi, a renowned journalist and the editor of newsweekly The Friday Times, was grabbed from his bedroom at
midnight by the security agencies on the orders of PM Sharif. The reasons were the criticism against the policies of government in The Friday Times. The government arrested him without any charges, and held him for a month. Later he was released after the involvement of the then COAS General Pervez Musharraf.

October 1999 - Nawaz Sharif Appointed General Pervez Musharraf as the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (JCSC) while at the same time Pervez Musharraf was also serving as the COAS. Doing this Nawaz Sharif showed as if he had no evil ambitions against Pervez Musharraf, instead he had complete faith on him.

October 1999 - Sharif tried to dismiss COAS General Pervez Musharraf when Pervez Musharraf was in Srilanka on an official tour. It was
12th October 99, when the plane of Musharraf took-off from Srilanka and was in air, Nawaz Sharif tried to appoint General Ziauddin Butt as the new COAS, without following the appropriate process of dismissing the existing COAS. Sharif also ordered to change the destination of the plane, to land in any neighbouring country like UAE or India (an all-time enemy of Pakistan). Consequently, the army retaliated, and ousted the government of Nawaz Sharif. Musharraf took-over the control of government. Nawaz Sharif and company were taken under arrest. The anti-terrorism court declared a life sentence to Sharif for hijacking the plane. Later he was sent to Saudi Arabia in exile for 10 years after an agreement with the government.

September 2007 - While in exile, Sharif continuously denied about any agreement of living in exile, and blamed Musharraf of throwing him out of the country. However a day before returning to
Pakistan, he organized a press-conference in London, and admitted that he signed an agreement of living in exile, but only for 5 years. On 10th of September 2007 his plane landed in Islamabad, but he was sent back to Saudi Arabia again.

November 2007 - He returned to
Pakistan and continued the political activity.

    Bee-jamaalo .. & our media !

bee-jamaalo is a very interesting character of Pakistani society. It can be found in all localities of the country and plays a vital role in every locality. Usually, an aged (or middle-aged) woman of a locality plays the role of bee-jamaalo. Its core responsibility is to visit each house in vicinity to get the private and inside information of families, and free distribution of this piece of information to the people living in neighborhood.

Sometimes this propagation of information becomes a profitable business for bee-jamaalo when there is a tussle going on between two families of a vicinity. For vested interests, one family pays bee-jamaalo to fetch a particular information from other family. The second family may use bee-jamaalo to propagate a rumor about the first family in the neighborhood. In this way, bee-jamaalo plays role for everyone. Every family of the vicinity tries its best to use bee-jamaalo in its favour. Getting money from all parties, bee-jamaalo lives happily.

Our media is playing the same role on national level. First the media-personals visit one political party and ask about the opponent political party. Obviously, that party criticizes and accuses the opponent party. Then they visit that accused political party and ask about the accusations. In response the accused party speaks even more about the first party. And so .. a never-ending blame game starts, and media keeps making money during this tug-of-war. Sometimes political parties pay media to propagate rumors against opponent parties.

Doing this .. our great media is playing the role of bee-jamaalo very nicely.

    Indian response on Kashmir Singh

just few hours after Pakistan handed-over a war-prisoner 'Kashmir Singh' to India as a goodwill gesture, the Indian authorities informed Pakistan to receive the dead body of a Pakistani prisoner Khalid Mehmood.

Khalid Mehmood was a Pakistani cricket-fan who visited
India in 2005 during a Pak-India cricket series. The Indian security agencies arrested him and accused him of spying for Pakistan. As a result of extreme torture in the Indian Jail he died on 12th February 2008. But intelligently, the Indian authorities didn't disclose his death on Pakistani officials until 4th March 2008 when Pakistan released and handed-over Kashmir Singh to Indian authorities. Indian authorities informed Pakistan about the death of Khalid Mehmood after one hour of the departure of Kashmir Singh from Pakistani soil.

What a great response it is from
India after the goodwill gesture of Pakistan. It is the same 'Incredible India', and it is the same 'Shining India', to which the western media and governments are projecting now-a-days. God knows who is making fool to the other ? Either it is the 'west' who is trying to use India as a profitable consumer market, and finally as an instrument to defeat China ? Or it is the India who is trying its best to cash the current global scenario against Pakistan ?

Whoever will be the winner of the global game in the end, but this incident of exchange of war prisoners has clearly shown the real face of shining
    India.
